highlights of my week so far... baking, hungry caterpillars, ice cream, crayons, baby geese, Maurice Sendak, sunshine, sand + castles... oh, and Alex eating all her dinner, including the sweetcorn. brilliant.

unimpressed with Woody Allen's contemporary efforts at movie-making I have been gradually aquainting myself with his past efforts... the most recent (and so far, my favourite) being 'Manhattan Murder Mystery'... and i was much entertained by this piece of Allen prose the oh so talented wordsmith Mr. Dan Hancox shared with me... http://maxxwolf.tripod.com/woody.html... considering Dan is a much valued, albeit intermittent Scrabble chum, the in-joke remains ours... still, enjoy

welcome pretty people... finally! finally! i am going to try and keep a blog going... it has no specific purpose... only some pourings from my brain that people i know might like to see. sometimes, if we are all very very lucky, it might be a picture i have made. more likely it will be a film i have watched or music i've heard or a book i read or something else i have experienced and thought was nice...
