I don't remember reading Anthony Browne's books when I was little though I really wish I had... I once read 'Gorilla' to the girls and it has the most painstakingly beautiful illustrations (of which there is a online dirth)...



Browne is the new children's laureate... read this...I thoroughly approve

highlights of my week so far... baking, hungry caterpillars, ice cream, crayons, baby geese, Maurice Sendak, sunshine, sand + castles... oh, and Alex eating all her dinner, including the sweetcorn. brilliant.
